Submit to me by email [email protected]: 3 High res jpg. of recent completed work and a artist statement that will be used for advertising on the web and flyer. The Artist Statement can be a few sentences to a couple of paragraphs describing you and your work.
In agreeing to participate in the 2019 “River Art Fair” the artist agrees to assume all risk, incident to and including, but not limited to, the use of facilities, use of equipment, and all hazards associated with the operation of the booth and hereby release and agree to indemnify the Roberts property from any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action incident to the artists’ participation in the “River Art Fair”.  By signing the confirmation contract, I hereby consent to the waiver and agree to follow the guidelines stated herein.
        1. I acknowledge that The Roberts Property does not provide medical or accident insurance coverage and is not
            responsible for personal articles lost or stolen.
        2. I will allow photographs taken during this event to be published without limitation for non-commercial purposes.

        3. I agree to abide by and follow the activity and registration policy and procedures.
River Art Fair (Roberts Property)– Assumption of Risk, Waive and Release: 

I am fully aware of the fact that there are special dangers and risks inherent in the activity, including, but not limited to the risk of serious physical injury, death, or harmful consequences that may arise or result directly or indirectly from my participation in this activity.  Being fully informed as to these risks and in consideration of my being allowed to participate in River Art Fair sponsored activities, I hereby assume all risk of injury, damage, liability and harm to myself and whoever is with me arising from such activities.  I also hereby individually and on behalf of my heirs, executors and assigns, release and hold harmless the Roberts Property, their officials, members and agents and waive any right of recovery that I might have to bring a claim or a lawsuit against them for any personal injury, death or other consequences occurring to me arising out of my voluntary participation in this activity.

I certify that I am the participant named above, that I have read and understood the foregoing release and that I join the release without reservation, granting full consent and authorization for the above-named person to participate in the activity.

Join us in Washougal, Washington, on August 3, 2019, for a celebration of the arts.  Participate as a vendor, selling your original art there. No reproductions of famous artists will be allowed.  You will be asked to leave if any is displayed.

No Children under the age of 16 will be allowed to stay with parent during the fair hours.  Only one helper over the age of 16 will be allowed to help you during the fair.

Vendor Checklist of Requirements:

Fill out the River Art Fair Commitment Form with the names of all participants in your boothEach participant must sign the Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Release.
Enclose a check for $55.00 for each space made payable to:  Deborah Roberts. or If you prefer to use PayPal make sure you are sending the money to:  [email protected] and don’t say you are getting a service from me otherwise they deduct from the $55.00, then you will have to send it to me again or the difference because it will be short.
Mail or email the above pages 1 & 2 to ([email protected]) or 1705 SE Washougal River Rd.  Washougal, WA 98671 by the deadline of June 15, 2019. You will be notified of your acceptance by email.

Rules, Regulations and Miscellaneous Information:
Artists must be at least 18 years old and will provide their own display equipment (canopies, tables, chairs, etc.)  Canopies must have weights attached to the corners and are not a tripping hazard.  All art must be created by the artist and be original from concept through completion. No commercially manufactured items will be allowed.  River Art Fair will only accept artwork we feel is in keeping with the spirit of our arts and fine crafts event.  We will ask that any work not in keeping with the character of our event be removed.  If you need an exception of some sort contact me.

The River Art Fair event organizer will assign 10X10 spaces and you will be notified prior to the show of your booth location.  All booths must be set-up and ready for sales by 9:45 on Saturday morning and remain open until 4:00 PM.  No early breakdown is allowed.  All vehicles must be removed from the vendor area by 8:45 AM.  No vehicles will be allowed back into the area until after 4:00 PM.  You are responsible for collecting the required sales tax and remittance to the state.  You are encouraged to provide a sales receipt to your customers.  You are responsible for cleaning up your space and the area around it after the show is over.  There will be no refunds for your vendor space if you change your mind after payment. Absolutly NO PARKING ON ANY GRASS AREAS WHERE THE VENDORS ARE. If you are uncertain about the boundaries please ask!


1.You will need to bring your own lunch and water for the day.  I do have a hose near there and it is delicious well water that we drink and you are welcome to fill up a water container if you run out.

2. Each Artist or Crafter must have a “10 X 10 CANOPY” to participate. White is preferable but not necessary..   

3. You Must be completely set up and ready to sell by 9:45 a.m.

4.There will be no electricity at the site so please plan for this ahead of time.  No generators will be allowed to supply electricity.

5. Arrival Time is 7:45 A.M. or later! You will be notified prior to the fair of you time of arrival.  You may not arrive sooner that your time slot.


7. Cost for this event is $55.00 for each booth.  This covers special insurance and advertising for the event. If you are paying by PayPal use [email protected] email to send payment.  Specify that is for “River Art Fair” on payment.  Keep this record for your taxes or the check you mail.  I do not give receipts.

8.You will be responsible to take home all your own trash, your 10x10 space must be completely clean before leaving the property.

9. Fill out the attached form and email it back to me. 

10. Children are not allowed to hang out with you during the fair hours.  You are allowed to have one other person in your booth 16 years of age or older.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Note: I will not hold any space if I do not receive payment by June 15, 2019.  No refunds if you do not show or change your mind.
